#93 - Our Gift

Gift:
A natural ability
or talent.

From observation, most of us have a gift to share.

It's not necessarily in exchange for money or any other form of energy exchange, but it's a gift from your heart, something given freely and selflessly.

It can come in many, many forms.

Often, it's attached to our life purpose or passion, but it doesn't have to be.

Often it arises spontaneously out of our goodness within.

The gift can be your way of expressing something to others, in a heartfelt way.

It could be art, music, words, actions and deeds that are kind, caring and considerate.

These acts can have a huge impact on the recipient.

The person that receives these, is taken aback by the generosity, the heart-centredness of the deliverer.

Everybody wins!

It can have a profound effect.

One small gift, one small act of kindness can change somebody's life and often we won't know what an impact that gift has on that person.

The giver, very rarely has a feedback loop that states:

“What you did, changed my life”.

And what's more, they didn't expect one or did it for that reason.

It was an act of pure love.

This is why it's selfless.

It's not driven by the ego; the ego would want something in return.

"Now you owe me!"

But freely sharing our gift is a purely heart-centred, compassionate, understanding, loving gesture.

And our gift can come in many ways, shapes and sizes.

The easiest ones to perform and practice, are known as random-acts-of-kindness.

Let's face it, our world needs a lot more kindness at this moment.

So let's consciously individually and collectively practice random-acts-of-kindness in our day, and know that we are making a difference.

One person at a time.

That's really worthwhile doing.

Be Kind, by Being Love!
